Life Membership Induction

Last Sunday, November 4, members of the Grenfell Country Club held an informal dinner at the club to induct Steve Grace as an Honorary Life Member.

Members of the club acknowledged the wonderful dedication that Steve has given over many years.

Steve has dedicated his voluntary time between working and family time to help out as much as possible with other volunteers to maintain the upkeep of the golf course.

Members of the Grenfell Country Club are very grateful for all his hard work.  

Congratulations Steve on becoming the club’s newest life member.

Grenfell Commodities held its annual golf day on Saturday November 3 with excellent support from Grenfell and visiting players.

The Grenfell Country Club is very grateful for the wonderful, continued support from Grenfell Commodities and from the community of Grenfell.

Winners on the day were:

First Jonothan Baker, Trent McCann and Ashleigh Whitechurch.

Runners up Trevor Cooper, Mark Crutcher, Greg Oliver.

Nearest to Pin Jonothan Baker and Garry McSpadden.

Men’s Golf Results

Wednesday October 31- 

A stableford was played with Steve Grace following on with his good form taking the day out with 38pts,  runner up was A Jones with35pts and 3rd was G Gravenmarker with 34pts.

Nearest to the Pin went to P Harris.

Sunday November 4 – 

The November Medal was played plus the Medal of Medals.

A grade Medal was taken out by B Green with 71net, 2nd was D Fanning with account back from C Johnson on 73net.

In third place was P Mawhinney on 75net.

Barry also took out the 2018 A Grade Medal of Medals.

B Grade medal was taken out by M Troth on 70net, 2nd was F Stevens on 72net and 3rd D Smith on 73net.

B Hughes took out the 2018 B Grade medal of medals.

Nearest to the Pin was B Green.

Upcoming events – 

November  18 – The Brian Hughes sponsored day.

This event will be a Par 3 singles event with a 12:30pm shotgun start. All welcome.

GRENFELL COUNTRY CLUB

The Grenfell Golf Course is an 18 hole sand greens course with a par of 68, ACR 66, and is 5530 metres long.

Fairways are in excellent condition.

The Club is located on the Gooloogong Road.

The club offers an excellent function room that is fully catered. New members are always most welcome.
