NSW Representative:

Blake Bradtke played at Cabramatta last weekend and represented NSW in the under 25s bowls tournament producing a credible performance. Well done Blake.

Social Bowls:

Social Bowls last week was held in good weather conditions with a huge turn out of 50 participants.

Winners were :- Chooks :- Rod ONeill, Dave Hancock, John Dumbrell, Dennis Hughes,  and  Ray Walter.  

Vouchers:-  Nev Coleman, Rob Chambers, A Armstrong, Warren Johnson and Clive Anderson and  

Free games:- Max Barr, Col Myres, John Grogan and John Dumbrell.

Jackpot:

This week you needed +2 on the 11th end on an odd numbered rink.

The jackpot was won by Mark McSpadden, Rob Coleman and Ray Walter $40.00 each. Next week's jackpot is $48.00 next week.

Fours Championships:

The draw has been made for the club men’s fours championship, the mixed fours and mixed pairs weeks. The first round of the club men’s fours championship is to be played by the November 4.

Melbourne Cup Calcutta:

Next Saturday the club has a mega draw for the end of month draw. Extra meat draws and 5 x $100.00 vouchers up for grabs.

Grenfell Bowling Club in conjunction with Can-Assist are holding a charity day of lawn bowls on Sunday November 4 at 4.30pm. Social bowls, no experience needed, teams of three, bowls are available if you don't have any and a fee of $30.00. Includes sausage sizzle. A Calcutta will be held at 6pm.

Enter beforehand or on the day. Get a team together to help Can-Assist. The Bistro will be open from 6pm.

Three bowls triples:

The Coca Cola 3 bowl triples will be held on November 10 and 11. A total of $3100 in prize money up for grabs. Male, mixed and female teams can vie for prize money in the different categories. Entry $30 per person. Contact Ross on 0427434118 or the Grenfell Bowling  club on 63431656.
