The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the Grenfell Mens Bowling Club Board will be held on Sunday October 21 at 10am. The Grenfell Club Ltd AGM will follow at 11am.

Minor/ Major pairs results was Barry and Blake Bradtke def David Frost and Rob Chambers 29 to 16.
A mixed Grenfell team played at Woodstock on Sunday winning the runner up prize. Well done Sonia Ingall, Dave Hancock and Andrew Armstrong.
Social Bowls
Social Bowls last week had windy conditions with 37 players participating, the winners were:
Chooks: Rod ONeill, Clive Anderson and Quentin Murray
Vouchers: Rob Coleman, Mark McSpadden and
Free games: John Joyce and John Dumbrell.
Jackpot
This week you needed -5 on the 4th end on an even numbered rink. The jackpot was not won this week. Next week's jackpot is $112 next week.
Names need to be put up for the club men’s fours championship, the mixed fours and mixed pairs within in the few weeks.
3 Bowls Triples
The Coca Cola 3 bowl triples will be held over November 10 and 11. A total of $3100 in prize money up for grabs. Male, mixed and female teams can vie for prize money in the different categories. Entry $30 per person. Contact Ross on 0427434118 or the Grenfell Bowling club on 63431656.
Indoor Bowls
The Grenfell Indoor Bowlers had their usual number of ten bowlers again last Tuesday afternoon keeping the same skips as the week previously. It was pleasing to see Eric and Thelma turn up for a game. With the same skips as last week, again Tom’s team were narrow winners on the day.
Having the five players per side works out pretty neatly and everybody gets two bowls each.
By the time this notice is published the club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will have been held and a report on that will be available in next week’s Record.
It has been advised that one of the good bowlers from Cowra, Allen Messiter, has had a setback in health and if this is true we wish him a good recovery and hope he will be back playing again soon.
