The new season of the Women's Bowls NSW Summer League Triples Competition is now up and running and the local Grenfell team of Sue Gault (reserve), Kathy Betcher and Courtney Hunter got off to a great start with a nice win over Young, at Young Bowling Club, last Wednesday night, October 10, winning 16-14.

Well done to these talented local bowlers.
Although the game was played in very windy and cold conditions, the ladies still managed to have fun and make the best of their time on the green.
Another game of the Grenfell Women’s Bowls Club Singles Championship was played, again in very windy conditions, between Kathy Betcher and Julie Woods last Wednesday, October 10, with Kathy nudging out Julie with a final score of 25-20 to secure the win.
The club’s committee are very happy to report that member numbers are starting to increase and the Ladies Club is now looking forward to a very exciting and challenging future.
If you are looking for a sport that enables you to have fun, get some light exercise, meet new friends and be competitive - or not, then lawn bowls is definitely for you!!
The club can provide learners with bowls if needed and a bit of basic training and support, new members are always most welcome.
