Last Wednesday, September 19, TAFE NSW Grenfell Campus hosted a morning tea giving members of the community an opportunity to donate towards the Buy A Bale appeal. In attendance were Grenfell TAFE Services Coordinator Tracey Mackay, Tristan Vallely of Cowra TAFE, Chad White Grenfell Suicide Prevention Project officer and members of the community.
The Buy A Bale program is operated by the charity Rural Aid, across Australia there are thousands of farmers who need help. In the past Rural Aid have provided support to those in need with floods in Queensland and fires in Victoria and more. Australian farmers are the backbone of our country. For hundreds of years they’ve fed us all, now they need our support to keep their stock alive and the food in our stomachs. To donate visit https://www.buyabale.com.au/donate/.
