FOOTY FUN: A great afternoon of food, fun and fellowship was enjoyed by participants and their families in the Railway Hotel Football Tipping competition presentation on Sunday afternoon.
Normally fun games are held in the square outside the hotel, but owing to the chilly wind, celebrations took place indoors.
Everyone came dressed in their favourite footy team colours and enjoyed the delicious nibbles, a sausage sizzle and some beverages to top off a great year.
Gavin Johnson took out the first place in the tipping, followed by John Gilbert, Michael Dunn with the ‘last home Charlie’ going to Karl Makin.
To win last prize, you actually have to put your tips in.
Thanks to Margaret and Noel Gundry for organising a fun draw, where everyone seemed to win a prize.
Margaret also ran a raffle for a Steeden football with the proceeds going to the Lions Club.
