With perfect weather conditions a huge crowd made their way to the Caragabal Country Club for the annual event which once again was a huge success.
Race-goers enjoyed a six-race program and some good old-fashioned fun including the all new Toyota Challenge with prizes for the *Oldest Toyota * Tidiest Show and * Workhorse.
Children were entertained not only by chasing the sheep down the track to the finish line, but also the giant sandpit and of course the ever popular lolly drop from the plane.
The Lions Club jumping castle was also a hit with the kids.
Race-goers were able to buy a sheep for the day in each of the pre-race auctions, they could also take out a $2 sweep before each race, giving them the chance to win ownership of a sheep for the day.
A big congratulations to Donaldson Industries on taking out the Ram's Cox Plate with their sheep Baarbara Streislamb.
Caragabal Country Club Committee President Mitchell Pollock and his team would like to thank all those who attended the 2018 Sheep Races and said the event was one of the best yet.
“Thanks for coming along to the races - it was one of our best yet.” said Mr Pollock.
