Weddin Landcare will host it’s annual Wattle Day Walk with ‘Wattles of the Weddin Shire’ on Thursday August 30. Explore the huge variety of wattles and plant communities found in the Weddin Shire traveling by bus from the east to the west of the shire. Participants are asked to meet at 9am at Loader’s Coaches, 23 Brundah St, and are expected to return by 3pm. Please RSVP to Mikla on the number below to secure your place.

Also to celebrate Australia’s official Wattle Day on September 1 Young District Landcare will be hosting an introduction to the wonderful world of wattles at the Clover Leigh Golf Club in Crowther. Participants are asked to meet at Young Railway Station at 9am to travel to Crowther by bus, estimated return time to Young is 3pm. Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
