Despite a chilly winter afternoon President Wendy Anderson welcomed the attendance of members to the Red Cross Grenfell Branch June meeting with a special mention to new member Cherie Pattrick. After the formalities of the meeting Wendy thanked members for their efforts towards supporting the Henry Lawson Festival with a window display and participation in the procession. Special mention was made to our Trauma Teddy Paxton Hewitt and to all community folk who attributed to our efforts.

The next meeting will be the Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will be held on July 27 at 2pm in the Hub, all members of the community are cordially invited. Organisations for the AGM were discussed and our guest speaker will certainly be enjoyed. Planning is taking place to our catering commitment for the Garden Club. Meals on Wheels this month was volunteered by members. Invitations were received for the Far West luncheon and Cowra Red Cross AGM.
