International Evening: The CWA Evening Branch is hosting their annual International evening on Tuesday July 17 at 6.30pm. The country of study this year is Poland and Tania Mooney at the Grenfell Country Club will be preparing dishes from Poland for you to enjoy. Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy Polish food, fun and fellowship where members will be presenting short talks about life in Poland, its culture and history. There will be a lucky door prize as well as a fun competition on Poland. RSVP to Deidre on 02 6343 1574 by July 14.

Guest Speakers: at a recent meeting Rebecca Shepherd Senior Project Officer, Suicide Prevention Program, Western Plains Regional Development Inc. and Chad White Project Officer, Suicide Prevention Project (Weddin Shire) were guest speakers. They presented an overview of the project, conducted a question time and members received literature handout. Following the presentation, Deidre Carroll presented Rebecca and Chad with a ’Certificate of Appreciation’ and thanked them for their time in presenting the information to the members.
