Passing the torch: After 37 years, Graham Foster has handed over the reins to a new generation in Balance Accountants and Advisers.

They may be new faces in town however the team from Balance Accountants and Advisers will bring a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of accounting and taxation.

The Cowra-based firm of Balance Accountants and Advisers, have purchased Gibson and Co in order to give Grenfell residents the very best face to face advice on financial planning, tax, superannuation and personal insurances.

Balance Accountants and Advisers consists of three partners Andrew Pullen and Matthew Pullen, along with Mark Fisher, who together have decades worth of experience in the industry.

Mark said that is was great to have a presence in Grenfell and had been happy with the changeover since opening up shop on June 4. 

“We are not trying to relocate the practice, and are actually on deck four days a week. We are bringing a new energy to accounting and taxation in Grenfell,” he said.

He also announced that the firm would be taking over the Grenfell clients of Lachlan Accounting and Advisory from long time owner Dani Millynn at the start of the new financial year. 

Currently Mark is available in the Grenfell office on Mondays and Tuesdays, while Matt is available on Thursdays and Andrew on site on Fridays.

Both Dani Millyn and the man behind Gibson and Co, Graham Foster, will be available help the new team familiarise themselves with each client during the busy tax season and over the following months.

New receptionist Nadine Laneyrie will be starting with the firm in July. Bookkeeping and accounting staff Fran Galvin, Emma Heatley and Sue Seymour will be remaining with the firm, while Karen Hampton from Grenfell has also joined the new team who are looking forward to a bright future in Grenfell.
