“I have been teaching SRE for over six years at Parkes High School, Forbes High School and more recently The Henry Lawson High School,” said David.
“I find it can be very rewarding, SRE is a great service for families who would like their children to learn more about Christian beliefs.”
Mr Hayward is fully trained and equipped to teach classes and run seminars for students whose parents or caregivers are happy for them to be involved.
SRC seeks to give every student the opportunity to understand the life and teachings of Jesus Christ – the single most influential person in history as they develop their own commitments and worldview for life.
SRE has been a part of schooling in NSW since 1880 and is an integral part of our culture and history. SRE is time set aside in the school week for approved SRE providers to enter their local government schools and teach about their distinctive beliefs and practices.
SRE offers a range of great services for students including regular Scripture classes, Christian Fellowship lunchtime groups and much more.
