It was a physical encounter but at the end of the day luck was on the Weevil’s side.
The final score was 39-29 against the Panthers.
Two tries were scored by Mark Amey but it was Rob Osmond who flew under the radar and was pivotal in the Panthers strong defence.

This Saturday Grenfell will host the Temora Tuskers which is set to be the game of the round.
Not only will there be a First Grade game kicking off at 3:15 pm but this week sees Under 12’s (Grenfell vs Kinross) at 12:00pm, Under 14’s (Grenfell vs Young) at 1pm as well as a women’s game between Temora and Orange City kicking off at 2pm.
Come along and enjoy the atmosphere with a full bar and canteen facilities available. It is sure to be a great day of Rugby.
