Mmm-mmm, we beat you again.
However, the game didn’t start out too well, with Rovers scoring the first goal.
Grenfell soon returned serve putting valuable points on the board.
Both teams played some terrific soccer going goal for goal again and then Grenfell finished the first half with a couple of goals up on Parkes.
Half time score, about 4 – 2.
Us players in the backs have not been able to successfully keep track of the score.
This has been proven in the last couple of weeks.
Grenfell continued their attack in the second half, scoring many more goals.
Rovers did score a couple as well with a series of counter attacks.
Final score. I think it was about 7 – 4.
Side note: Work wanted.
Do you have any work available for a 33 year old non-smoking, hard working, Gemini, please don’t hesitate to give Dean a call.
Hours and prices are very flexible at the moment and there is a lot of availability.
Written by Dean and Callum Cawthorne.
Again we would like to say thank you to our wonderful supporters, who come down and watch, such a thrilling game of soccer.
I’m sure it was better than the FA Cup to watch, cheaper and closer as well.
On behalf of the club I would also like to thank the Royal Hotel, thank you for your wonderful hospitably, BBQ, very loud juke box and pool table.
Ben and Ross were beaten playing a game of pool by Christian and Dean. Better luck next time Ben and Ross.
Also thanks must go to Grenfell Meat Barn, our major sponsors, could we please place an order for some steak and steakettes for next week after the game?
Without our terrific sponsors we would not be able to run such a successful club, your support is very much appreciated by all of the Grenfell Stingers.
And could someone please show Mitch where the frozen onion is in the IGA.
Watch this space for the results of our next big match.
