Grenfell Grade 7 Pennant squad travelled to Lithgow for Zone 4 pennant playoffs last weekend, with two 10-0 wins on the Saturday and a narrow loss Sunday morning they qualified for the final on Sunday against Gulgong.
Grenfell hit the ground running at one stage they lead by a comfortable 28 shots eventually winning by 74-54.

Congratulations Rob Chambers, Kerry Aston, Scott Baker, Warren Paine, Roger Baker, Martin Betcher, Keith Brus, Ross Hunter, Dennis Hughes, Dave Hancock, Barry Bradtke, Barry Jones and Phil Hunter on being Zone 4 Grade 7 Champions 2018.
They have now qualified for the state finals in August at Halekulani Bowling Club.
The finals of Grade 5 were held at Grenfell last weekend with Orange Country Club and Canowindra winning both games on Saturday which made for a great final match on Sunday morning.
After a close game all the way through Orange Country Club ran out winners, congratulations.

In a Major-Singles semi final Ray Walter defeated John Joyce 31-26.
