We came away with one win and one loss but unfortunately did not have enough margin to win the aggregate.
It would have made no difference as stated last week Coota were the winners of the number 4 pennant regardless of the outcome of this game.
The final result for the number 4 pennant was as follows:
Cootamundra Country Club 22 points
Cootamundra Ex 15 points
Young 12 ½ points and
Grenfell 10 ½ points
The presentation of medals and flags took place after all players enjoyed a delicious luncheon.
Also presented with medals and flags were Young for number 2 pennant and Harden for number 3 pennant.
As these two teams were standouts, they did not have to play a bowl to win their flags and medals. Congratulations to the top teams for your outstanding efforts in the pennants.
They will all now go onto the group play-off, the winners of the group play-off will then go on to state.
A sports board raffle was held and our own Joy Murray was the winner. Congratulations Joy.
Some of our more active social bowlers will not be available over the next few weeks but as soon as we are back to normal, we will begin having regular bowls.
