On April 5 we played Cootamundra Country Club with both sides going down. The game played on April 10 was against Cootamundra Ex-Services Club and in a welcome back to Judy McAlister there was a drawn game and a loss.
The game this week will take place tomorrow against Young at Young. Although we have only won one round, we have still participated and that is the main thing.
Next week is our final game for the pennant season at Cootamundra Country Club.
Our thanks is extended to the Club Ltd for their support, Peter for our very good greens and Martin and Quentin for umpiring. Without this help we could not continue.
Beginning next Saturday, May 21, Social Bowls will start at 1pm with names to be in by 12.30pm.
All are welcome.
New bowlers and old, men’s, women’s and mixed bowls will be played according to the likes and dislikes of the players. Please come along and have a game.
If you have not played before we can supply bowls and people to help with the basics, all you need are flat soled shoes (clothes of course) and a sense of humour, we look forward to seeing you.
