The 2017/2018 Grenfell Swimming Club (GSC) presentation night, held on Friday evening, April 6, was a great turnout. Danny Joyce, GSC president, thanked all for attending and said ‘How wonderful to have the pool back and see many swimmers enjoying the new facility after last season’s break.’ The evening was later than planned due to issues with the new system. Danny also said. ‘A huge thank you to the ladies in the engine room Jenny Bell and Nicola Mitton who spent long hours over weekends to sort out these issues – we really appreciate your time and tireless efforts.’ Nicola and Jenny were presented with a beautiful bunch of flowers.
