Two hundred and sixty-eight lambs with an estimated value of $30,000 have been reported stolen from a property near Grenfell.

Police say the lambs were stolen from a Clayney’s Road property sometime between December last year and January 31.
Cowra Police Inspector Adam Beard reminded members of the rural community to swiftly report incidents of theft.
“Police encourage the rural community to report incidents of theft once they become aware to ensure police can investigate the report in a timely manner,” Inspector Adam Beard said.
“This will lead to a greater chance of recovering stolen property and prosecuting offenders responsible.”
Police are continuing inquiries and urge anyone with information to come forward. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, all information received will be treated with the strictest of confidentiality.
