This year’s project is to help make Poppies for the Remembrance Day display in November.
Patterns are available for those that are unable to attend but would like to help.
New magazines recently received are Gardening Australia, Choice, Choice Computer, Taste, Backyard, National Geographic Kids, Australian House & Garden, 4x4 Australia and Double Helix.
And for the kids we have Bedtime stories by Debi Gliori, A bag and a bird by Pamela Allen, If I had a little dream by Nina Laden, Turtles all the way down by John Green, Rusty, Buster & Patch versus the opera by Adam Wallace, Mary Poppins by P. L. Travers, National Velvet by Enid Bagnold and Keeping Henry by Nina Bawden.
The latest DVD titles include The final winter, War arrow, Tomahawk, Arlo the burping pig, Grumpier old men and The Revenant.
Upcoming library events to keep in mind are:
Wednesday March 14 - Knit, Knatter and Nibble – Returning for 2018 – 10.30am - 12.30pm.
Friday March 16 – Board Games and Lego after school 3 – 4.45pm.
So, round up some friends and come along for a challenge.
Monday March 19 – Introduction to internet part 1.
Class will be in the Internet Centre between 10am and 12noon. Bookings are required and are free.
Tuesday March 20 – FOGL meeting will be held at 1.45pm for a 2pm start.
Wednesday March 21 – Preschool storytime from 10.30am for the 3 to 5 years old. Siblings welcome.
Tuesday March 27 – Seniors morning tea at the Uniting Church Hall from 10am.
All members of the community are welcome to attend this popular annual event.
