As has been advertised the library’s ‘Knit, Natter and Nibble’ programme has evolved in 2018 into a monthly meeting focused on knitting/crocheting poppies.
Anne will not be organising a rival group making squares for the Wrap With Love charity, but if you have already made squares or plan to make some please deliver them to Anne at 79 Camp Street, Grenfell for assembly as convenient.
Completed wraps can also be given to Anne or delivered directly to the Cowra or Orange libraries.
Six more wraps were delivered to Orange at the end of last year making a total of thirty for 2017 and there are two more finished and squares on hand for a further three.
Thank you to all who have been involved in Wrap With Love. Over the last seven years or so over one hundred wraps have been sent from Grenfell so all involved deserve a big pat on the back.
Happy poppy creation to those taking up the new challenge.
