The second club championship night will be held this Friday March 9 - please note - swimmers will be automatically nominated into championship events that they qualify for, except for the 200m Individual Medley. You must let us know if you choose not to compete in an event that you automatically qualify for or if you will be away. Please check dates below for qualifying summaries. If you are planning not to swim for any of the championships you must let Leann know.

Six (6) swims must be completed to qualify with the following considered:
November 17 (washout) 1 swim – swimmer must have nominated for this meet.
December 1 (washout) 1 swim – swimmer must have nominated for this meet.
January 26 (Australia Day) 1 swim – granted to all swimmers
February 9 (MPS carnival) 1 swim – granted to all swimmers.

Friday March 9 – second championship night
Monday March 12 – swimming club meeting – 8pm – swimming club rooms - all welcome
Friday March 23 – club presentation night – pop the date in your diary.
Championships:
Friday March 9 – 200m individual medley, butterfly 10m, 20m, 33m and 50m, breaststroke 10m, 20m, 33m and 50m.
Timekeepers – Kath Holz in charge
Swimmers will be automatically nominated into championship events that they qualify for, except for the 200m freestyle and the 200m IM. You must nominate for the 200m freestyle and the 200 individual medley if you want to compete in these events at the championships. (Reminder: to qualify for the 200m freestyle you must have completed 6 swims of the 100m freestyle. To qualify for the 200IM you must have completed 6 swims of each stroke and currently be swimming at 50m in all of them). Weekly News – Stroke correction classes: Saturdays. 10am – 11.45am. Cost $5 per swimmer.
Swimming squad sessions: Monday – Thursday.4pm – 5pm and 5pm – 6.30pm.
Timekeeping/raffle roster: Friday 9 March: will be emailed out during the week
