It is considered a crucial instrument to harness the power of thought, cultivate more peace, clarity and happiness. In learning to train the brain and focus our attention is crucial to thriving and cultivating a peak performance in any endeavour. Mind strength is one of the most empowering tools we can employ to impact and improve all aspects of life is stated by Dr Ron Alexander, author of “Wise Mind, Open Mind.” It is frequently used by medical professionals to enhance recovery from health issues and only claims about half an hour of our busy day. The opportunity to learn about this form of relaxation is going to be available for anyone who is interested in learning more and participate in an introduction to meditation.
David Donald who will be remembered by many Weddin Shire residents has been practicing and teaching meditation for many years. He is coming to Grenfell over the Easter period and has offered to run a workshop for those interested in meditation. He has generously offered to donate the proceeds from the workshop/s towards the cost of staging the Grenfell Henry Lawson Festival’s Photography Exhibition and competition which will be on display over the Henry Lawson Festival weekend on the long weekend in June.
David, in partnership with Roma Sinclair operated the Grenfell Pharmacy for some years and prior to that had his own pharmacy where Dr Patrick is now located. The cost of the hour long programme will be $20 pp and $35 per couple. Numbers will be limited to 20, if there is the demand an extra workshop will be held.
