Community Transport new bus

Last Tuesday, February 20, Weddin Community Transport took delivery of a 2016 model twelve-seater Renault bus.

The new bus was delivered by chairman of Coast & Country Community Services, Bill Cameron. (Coast & Country manages Weddin Community Transport along with Young and Boorowa Community Transport).

Weddin Community Services aims to provide social support to frail aged, people with disabilities and their carers, and isolated people within the Weddin Shire.

Michelle Johnson Weddin Community Transport  Coordinator said “The new bus will provide increased comfort for passengers as well as improved operations for our valued volunteer drivers.”

The bus will be used for social trips by the MPS as well as Weddin Community Transport and Neighbour Aid.
