Members remembered the late Kathie Taylor who was a very dedicated worker for the bookshop before president Meryl Hunter began the meeting for the first time this year. There was a good attendance but several apologies were received. The manager and treasurer were happy with Christmas trading so we now look forward to Easter. There are a large range of cards and gifts available for Easter, call in to the shop and have a browse at the great variety of items in stock. It was decided to arrange for carpet cleaning of the floors, and also begin thinking about the Lawson Festival decorated window, and then a street stall later in the year. We thank volunteers very much for their dedication in keeping their turns at the shop, but of course we could always use more if you have a morning or afternoon to spare. The meeting was closed with prayer led by Murray Walker.
