Grenfell resident Phillip Brown captured this great shot of a rainbow over the town last week as a storm system swept through the district.
The system brought very little rain with it, with just 1.2mm recorded in the 24 hour period up until 9am Friday morning.
According to the weatherzone.com.au Grenfell is headed for a top temperature of just 25 degrees today after an overnight low of 14 degrees.
For the remainder of the back to school week similar conditions are expected with highs of 24 and 25 on Thursday and Friday respectively.
The weekend will be slightly warmer with temperatures of 26 and 28 expected on Saturday and Sunday.
For those that prefer the cooler conditions, make the most of it as warmer temperatures, creeping into the low 30's, look set to return towards the end of next week.
