The Sesquicentenary DVD gives an overview of the celebrations held to mark the sesquicentenary of the town’s beginnings.
It features an interview with Peter Moffitt OAM. The DVD includes the launch on Australia Day, two special books; Historic Homes of the Weddin Shire and A Walk Through the Past A Pictorial History of Grenfell During the Early Years, newspaper columns, Picnic Races, Junior Farmer Reunion, Golden Oldies Rugby, Early History with Bruce Robinson, special Art Gallery exhibition, Museum Exhibition, Meet and Greek Weekend, Official Launch of October long weekend celebrations, bush dance, ghost tour, guineapig races, combined church service, native nursery, open gardens, costume competition, damper bake off, fun in Taylor Park and the beard growing contest.
DVD copies of the documentary will be available to purchase for $15 dollars each. You will need to confirm the quantity you wish to purchase and pay for them by January 12, 2018 as only the required number of copies will be ordered from the supplier. This offer is extended to all.
