Ms Cooke has secured a total $16,725 in funding for a range of enhancements to Caragabal Park set to benefit babies, the community and visitors to the town thanks to the NSW Government's 2017 Community Building Partnership (CBP) program.
The funds will be used for the purchase of new equipment for the park including a swing set with a designated baby seat and new modern springer.
A picnic shelter, picnic setting and gas barbecue will also be constructed as part of the project.
Ms Cooke said the Cootamundra electorate has secured $300,000 in grant funding for a total 22 projects as part of the 2017 Community Building Partnership (CBP) program.
Under the program, funding is allocated to community infrastructure projects that deliver positive social, environmental and recreational outcomes
