Cadets take part in annual parade

The Grenfell Cadet Corps took part In the annual 200ACU, 4PL Parade, which this year was held at Boorowa. Due to the wet conditions, the parade was transferred inside to the Boorowa Central School hall. Cadet Corps from Grenfell, Young, Cowra and Boorowa only had three hours to learn the new drill for indoors, where the Sydney Corps band drummed all the movements. The parade was a credit to all cadets, with Sergeant Claire McAway leading the parade.  A dining in night where all awards were distributed followed that evening at the RSL Club.

Margaret Knight was thrilled to celebrate with her Grandson Sergeant Axton Farrell-Gray, Axton is a member of Cowra Platoon.  Margaret was also privileged to present the Grenfell Cadets with their awards. Claira McAway and Henry Earney of Grenfell received many awards with Claira also receiving high praise for the way she led the parade, congratulations Claira and Henry.
