The children in the Star room at the Grenfell Pre-school and Long Day Care Centre would like to say thank you to everyone who helped them save bread tags and plastic bottle lids.

They have been working hard to help those in need of a wheel chair in South Africa.

Your dedication to collecting and sending them in for the project has been amazing and without this help from our small country town and even all the way to the wider communities (some even from Adelaide, Brisbane and the State Library in Sydney) this wouldn’t have been possible.

New committee members are President P Baker, Vice president A Protheroe, Treasure M Martens, Secretary W Little, ordinary members L Hazell, A Hunter, T Radnedge.

Together the centre has collected 48.1 kilos of plastic bottle lids and a whopping 4 kilos of bread tags. Congratulations to all involved.
