The 2017 Can-Assist Yellow Day fundraiser was terrific day with a number of community members adorning their best yellow outfits to head to the Criterion to support the local branch.

There was a variety of competitions held on the day with the following results:
100 Club winner: John O’Loughlin
Best Dressed: Leonie Pye, Trish Woodford and Gary Lowe
There were 34 raffle winners. Donations were received from the following businesses and organisations:
Grenfell Garden Club $500 – Grenfell Rugby League Club $100 – Grenfell Soccer Club $100 – CJ Anderson & Co $100 – Mareea Brown (Aston & Joyce) $50 – Dave and Janette Keough $100 and Bromar Engineering $500.
As well as My White Walls Denise Yates – Grenfell Furniture and Whitegoods – Egoista – Raffia & Co – Jan Parlett’s Exchange Hotel – Bowling Club – Country Club – Mawhoods IGA – Olivers Hardware – Chris’s Bakery – Tammy’s THD – Grenfell Pharmacy – Barry Franklin – Grenfell Shoes – Grenfell Post Shop – The Tin Cupboard – Jenn Graham, as well as all the businesses who have supported us over the last nine years including the Grenfell Record for all of the publicity they have provided.
It is very humbling to receive this support year after year.
