BorrowBox enables members of the library to download and borrow eBooks and eAudiobooks by way of digital loans. The BorrowBox app has a custom in-app dedicated eBook reader and eAudiobook player – the only one of its kind in the world. Designed and powered by Bolinda digital, BorrowBox is elegant and intuitive, featuring the unrivalled ease of use that Bolinda is renowned for. The only app in the world to offer downloadable eBooks and eAudiobooks from one spot, BorrowBox can be used online and with Apple iOS and Google Android devices.
Local library members can browse and borrow bestselling eBooks and eAudiobooks on any Apple iOS and Google Android device for limited periods through digital loans. Whether living in remote locations or city neighbourhoods, the BorrowBox mobile app allows book lovers to live lives rich with stories, knowledge and ideas. MP3 audio files are accessible and compatible with all devices.
The app is available for free on smartphone, iPad or home computer, both Android and Apple. You can start downloading books you have hired from home or from the library directly.
Some examples of authors are Bernard Cornwell, Alice Hoffman, Ruth Rendell, Danielle Steel, Wilbur Smith, James Patterson and Clive Cluster. Books are available for adults and children in both fiction and non-fiction.
There is something for everyone with the current library stock of 12,133 titles of 1,745 eAudiobooks and 3,649 eBooks and is growing weekly.
