“From little things, big things grow.”
Last Saturday at the Grenfell polling booth, the National Party graciously shared their morning tea with their competitors.
Could this be the start of civil reasoned behavior? Way to go Nats!!

The Editor
I wish to acknowledge and thank all National Party volunteers for their support at Saturday's poll in Grenfell which saw the election of Steph Cooke as the Member for Cootamundra.
I would also express my appreciation to the volunteers from all political parties for their politeness and good humour throughout the day.
This is the Australia we would all ascribe to, where you play the game without ill-feeling or acrinomy and shake hands at the end of the day.
My appreciation and thanks to the staff of the NSW Electoral Commissionwho conducted the poll with such pleasant efficiency.
On behalf of the Grenfell Branch of the NSW National Party,
John Hetherington
Secretary
