The large group enjoyed a number of adventures throughout the week with one of the highlights being the ‘Wacky Wednesday’ ride through town which followed a delicious morning tea at O’Brien’s Hill lookout. Riders dressed up in costumes for the annual trek down Main Street which this year raised funds for the Grenfell branch of Can-Assist.
Following the Main Street ride the group returned to the showground for an afternoon of fun with bending, barrels, flags and a stockman’s challenge followed by horse and riders being put through a series of grueling tests including the ‘opening gates’ and ‘ponying horses’ through to the great ‘vanilla slice dash’.
