This event is always a fantastic afternoon with a large number of guests in attendance. This year the committee offers raffles, fun activities and a delicious meal as well as watching the big race. Tickets to the luncheon will be available as of next week and can be purchased at CJ Anderson’s Real Estate, Loxley Salon, Louisa’s Locker or THD.

Proceeds from the luncheon will go towards assisting the Australian Red Cross to continue the fantastic work they do in providing relief in times of crisis and care when it's needed most. Red Cross is there for people in need, no matter who you are, no matter where you live.

With millions of volunteers worldwide and thousands of members, volunteers and supporters across Australia can reach people and places like nobody else. Whether it's a major natural disaster or a personal crisis in your own home, Red Cross is there to give immediate and practical help with disaster relief and recovery.

Re-connecting families or finding out the fate of loved ones torn apart by war or disaster lets people get on with their lives. People need more than basic survival mechanisms, they need to be nurtured and emotionally supported. They need their dignity.
