The new aquatic centre is almost complete and many members of the community are thrilled with the way it is taking shape. The new state-of-the-art complex boasts three pools including an olympic pool, training pool and a toddler splash pad. The new amenities block hosts an office, kiosk, first aid room as well as male and female toilets and change rooms. Tenders were first called around November 2014 for the reconstruction of the complex and after a lengthy three year wait the project is due for completion by November 1, 2017.
