Residents of Grenfell and the Weddin Shire will no longer have to travel out of town to receive veterinary services with the opening of a new surgery here in Grenfell.
Veterinarian Alan Sharrock is thrilled to announce the opening of his new branch of Lachlan Valley Vets here in Grenfell and would like to invite all members of the community to an open day at the new premises to be held on Tuesday September 26.
This is a great opportunity for residents to go along and meet the team and join in the opening of the new purpose built practice.
Alan has been providing a visiting veterinary service to residents of Grenfell since 1969 and has an enormous wealth of experience in all areas of the veterinary field. In fact it is almost impossible to find something Alan hasn't seen and treated before.
Alan grew up on a property in the small town of Bribbaree where he still runs a White Suffolk stud along with his brother.
Alan graduated from the University of Sydney some time ago before working in Leeton, Young, Orange and finally settling in Forbes. He also completed several years of travelling and locuming in the UK during this time.
Alan has been awarded his memberships to the Australian College of Veterinarians for pig medicine. He also has a long history working with equine reproduction in both the thoroughbred and standardbred industries.
Lachlan Valley Veterinary Clinic provides a professional veterinary service for all pets and livestock and will fully support you with sound advice first and foremost.
