Last Sunday Grenfell traveled out to Condo but there was a problem, we only had 7 players.

With one week to go before finals and the Stingers already qualifying would they try something different? Well yes, yes they did.
Mitchell is going in goals... would the bold decision pay off? Well no, no it didn't.
With Ethan Skinner, Frazer Ryder and the father and grandfather team of Ben and Murray Walker all working hard to stop the opposition’s attack.
Jarrod Draffin and Conner Day were working hard playing centre midfield, left and right midfield and also striker.
With so many extra players it was only a matter of time before Condo’s team all pushed up leaving Grenfell hitting them on the counter attack.
Some nice quick passing sore Frazer score. But we were losing 5-1.
What was our goalie doing? Well not much, just picking the ball out of the net. With Murray swapping goalie with Mitch not much changed as we were hopelessly out-numbered. Players tried hard but the game ended 12-1
Next week we travel to Parkes to take on Services United at 12pm in the semi finals.
It's a must win game for the Stingers, and Ash who needs to score to get out of the dreaded nudie run.
Special thanks must go our major sponsors the Royal Hotel and the Grenfell Meat Barn.
