Effort and commitment from the whole team produced the first three tries for the Panthers. You could tell from the sideline that player morale was at an all time high, producing quality rugby and a great game for the spectators.
Temora fought back before half time to score two tries, letting Grenfell know it wasn't going to be an easy win. At half time coach Craig Bembrick reassured the boys that their game was strong and to keep their heads level to win the game.
The whistle blew for the start of the second half with the Panthers hitting the paddock stronger than ever. The Grenfell scrum was just too powerful and the line outs too organised for the Tuskers to handle which game our boys great field position for a free flowing game. The final score was 32-19 Grenfell's was. Marty Reid scored a double while Henry Mitton, Lachy Martens and Mark Hughes also put points on the board. Player's player was awarded to Mark Amey. Points went to:
3: Henry Mitton
2: Jake Taylor
1: Luke Sheehan
This weekend Grenfell will host Condobolin for the last game before finals. We hope to see plenty of spectators to cheer the Panthers season home while enjoying a full bar and canteen facilities.
