The men played Round 10 of their Winter Night Comp on Tuesday. Grahame Edwards and Matthew Clarke were in great form to win the round with a score of 30 games- a good effort men. Grahame and Matthew won all their sets 6/2, 5/3, 6/2, 5/3, 8/0. Grant Fisher and Rod Freudenstein won a total of 24. They won all their sets except for the second last at which they lost 3/5 against the top pair. Grant and Rod won their other four sets 5/3, 6/2, 5/3, 5/3.

Danny Joyce and Rob Taylor were next best pair winning 21 games. They lost their first three sets 3/5, 3/5, 3/5, ans won their last two sets 6/2, 6/2.  Rob was a fill-in for Mark Liebich. Charles Harvey and Pat Hazell won a total of 17 games. Sets were 5/3, 4/4, 2/6, 3/5, 3/5. The other pairs taking part each won 14 games. They were Stuart McKellar and John Walmsley and Hugh Moffitt and Arnold Brown. There are two more rounds to be played in the Winter Tennis Comp. Round 11 will be played next Tuesday.

Temora wins Intertown Comp: The final round of the Inter Town Comp was played at West Wyalong last Sunday with Temora coming out on top. This win gave them the Inter Town Ken Hunter Shield for another year. The four towns taking part, Grenfell, Forbes, West Wyalong and Temora all played one another in the final round on Sunday and a great days tennis was enjoyed by all.
