Vicki Carter who turned 60 on Monday July10 celebrated an early birthday with family and friends at Fettlers Restaurant on Friday evening July 07.
Helping Vicki celebrate this milestone were her husband John and daughters Mel and Kim along with friends Debbie and Lauren Williamson, Emma Liebich and her partner Damo Wildsoet and their daughter Harper, Barry and Sheryl Hinde, Jeannie Murray and Garry Bennett.
HOME FROM PORT MACQUARIE:
Megan Rumbel and her two children Murphy and Henry Hutchings returned to Grenfell during the school holidays.
Whilst in Grenfell they were hosted by their great friend Michelle ‘Roxanne’ Rohan.
Megan had a wonderful time catching up with friends but was not impressed with the big frosty mornings.
The children spent time with their father Brett during their stay and also had time with their friends.
HAPPY 4TH
BIRTHDAY BOYS:
On Sunday afternoon July 9, Henry Hutchings was treated to a special 4th birthday party at the Lions Complex at the Railway Station with many of his friends and their families.
Marley and Mack Loader, Beau Hockings, Dale Ryan, Matilda Yorke, Dale Ryan, Henry’s sister Murphy were in attendance and helped at the party and sang “Happy Birthday’ whilst Henry blew out the candles on his beautiful cake which was made by Tara Anderson.
Beau Hockings who turned four on June 16 was also treated to a special belated birthday party at the Lions Complex the previous weekend.

CELEBRATIONS:
Alex Hamilton enjoyed a birthday dinner on Wednesday July 5 at Fettlers Restaurant.
Her fiancé Karl Makin, her mother Jill Hamilton and her husband David Hore, her brother Rob Hamilton and Karl’s parents Steve and Karen and his grandparents Meg and Max Makin were all in attendance to help Alex celebrate.
OBE:
By now you should all know that Robyn Logan attained her “OBE - Over Bloomin 80” status on July 06.
Robyn was the recipient of a special celebration at Fettlers Restaurant on Thursday evening the day of her birthday.
Good friends Patricia Reid and Coral Mitton (two of the regular Thursday evening birthday girls) were the main organisers of this special night.
Robyn was delighted that her lifelong friend Jocelyn Hancock and her tennis friends Loris Stewart and Jan O’Neill (daughters of Rhub and Enid Lehane) from the St Joseph’s Tennis Court days returned to Grenfell for the evening.
Former Grenfell resident Janice Gavin, now of Cootamundra, Robyn’s cousins, other tennis, squash and card playing friends and the regular Thursday night birthday girls all had a great night with Robyn.
Robyn received a call from her brother Lloyd and his family from the USA and whilst speaking with her they were on line visiting the Grenfell Record website and read the story on Robyn’s “This Is Your Life”.
