A more committed Goannas team in the second half produced a better performance. Going forward before going wide resulted in the Goannas out scoring Manildra 22 points to 10. Tryscorers were Sam Ingram 2, Brendan Hewen 1, Phil Ingram 1 with Mitch Stevens kicking 3 goals. Grenfells best were Steve Taylor, Mitch Stevens and Dan Barclay with Steve Taylor Players Player.
This Sunday June 2 sees Grenfell travel to Canowindra to play the much improved Tigers. This is a must win game for the Goannas and they will have to compete for the full 80 minutes if they are to gain the 2 points.
The Girlannas remain undefeated after a 32 to 8 win over Manildra and if the form reads right they should easily account for the Tigeress this week. Game times on Sunday are 12.40pm for League Tag with the Goannas at 2pm.
