The Mighty Panthers move forward pushing through the opposition during their last home game at Bembrick Field.

Saturday June 17 the Panthers traveled to Temora to take on the Tuskers. The game started off at a fast pace. Grenfell were on the front foot throwing all they had at Temora early and were able to capitalise with two penalty conversions minutes apart taking the score to 6-0 to the Panthers. It didn't take long for the Tuskers to rally, with a quick backline move they caught the panthers off guard, the conversion was unsuccessful making the halftime score 6-5 to the Panthers. The second half started much the same as the first with the Panthers aggressive in attack and defence. The Panthers forwards lead the charge but unfortunately fell short of the line. Slowly wearing the Panthers down the Tuskers scored another try with a fast back line move that the Panthers found hard to defend. Grenfell were then on the back foot for the rest of the game with some calls that didn't go their way. In true Panthers style the boys fought to the end but unfortunately the score didn't reflect the effort they put in. Final score 23-13 to the Tuskers. It was great to see such a large following of the Grenfell supporters come across to support our local team.
