Hamish Starr has been selected in the NSW Combined High School Cricket team to tour the UK. Hamish flies out on June 30 for a 3 week tour, playing 9 matches and sightseeing for the 3 weeks.

Hamish has been busy raising funds to help fund the trip, with Egg and Bacon rolls morning at school and raffles.
The Grenfell Cricket Club have made a donation to the cause in helping Hamish get to the Uk and President Craig Smith presented Hamish with a cheque on Friday evening.
Grenfell Cricket are very excited and proud that another of their players/coaches have been successful in selection at a higher level.
Grenfell Cricket Club has had numerous junior and senior players over the years selected in representative teams from Lachlan to Western Zone and also State and Australian levels.
Hamish has also been selected in NSWCountry/ACT Under 19s squad after a successful Country Carnival in February at Cowra.
Mea O’Byrne has also had success on the cricket field with being name in the Regional Cricket NSW under 15s female squad.
The Club would like to congratulate Hamish and Mea on these milestones and wish them every success in the future.
