The Grenfell Girlannas are currently at their best, proving each week that they are the best in the Woodbridge Cup League Tag competition.
At the half way mark of the competition the Girlanna's remain undefeated continuing their terrific form from the 2016 season.
Their most recent win was a convincing victory over the Trundle Boomers 44-0.
The Girlannas started out strong in the first half with smart attack and strong defense. The Grenfell girls were tagging brilliantly and gaining plenty of metres with the ball.
The forwards took ownership of the game in running great lines and utilising their skillful footwork.
Abbey Joyce, one of the Girlannas newest players, had a stand out performance.
The backline worked their magic with great backline movement which is hard to handle defensively. Breanna Anderson playing exceptionally well and was awarded players player.
The Trundle Boomers came out strong in the second half putting pressure on the Girlannas attack.
The Girlannas than sparked into another gear and from here they dominated the rest of the game.
This weekend, the June Long weekend, will see a general bye with the Girlannas will take a trip to Eugowra on June 18 which will be their toughest test yet.
Best of luck to the Girlannas at Eugowra, it would be great to see some Grenfell supporters come along and cheer the girls on.
