The Grenfell Stingers took on Parkes Services FC on Sunday May 21 and Grenfell were prepared for success after a disappointing defeat the week prior. The Stingers had a positive start to the game with midfielders Ethan Eyles, Martin Galea and Michael Walker keeping the ball at their feet, a top pass to strikers Hamish Starr and Frazer Ryder, who displayed great teamwork, allowed Hamish to score the first goal of the day. What followed was an absolute massacre of the opposition. Murray was next to pin one in with help from Jarrod Draffin, Ethan Eyles and Ben Walker. Deejae Griffiths was consistent as goalie saving many attempts from Parkes. In the second half Deejae moved to striker whilst Hamish made his debut as goalie, Grenfell dominated this half with Frazer scoring 4 goals followed by goals from Deejae, Mitchell and Michael, all players, besides Marty, scored for the Stingers who came away with a fantastic 14-0 win.
