The April, 2017 meeting of the Grenfell Branch of the Australian Red Cross was declared open by President Wendy Anderson. Wendy warmly welcomed all members present. The pledge was then recited.

Wendy advised of the sudden passing of our valued member and friend, Sue Pack. Wendy conveyed our deepest condolences to her husband, Bob, and family. Four members represented our branch at the Anzac Day Ceremony, and three members travelled to Bimbi for the book release ‘Bimbi and District Anzacs’. A letter from the Henry Lawson Festival regarding participation in the street procession was discussed. It was decided that due to regulations and lack of membership, not to take part. As there was no further business, President Wendy thanked everyone for attending and invited all members to stay for afternoon tea. Next meeting will be held on May 26, 2017. All new members welcome.
