Following the meeting, Coral explained how the Nursery operates with volunteers propagating plants from seed, from cuttings and by grafting.
Grenfell Garden Club members were taken on a tour of the Nursery's white shade house and around the large array of plants hardening off in the outside area. Some purchases were made followed by a delicious afternoon tea that was enjoyed by all.
It is still perfect conditions for planting and a visit to the Weddin Community Native Nursery at 45 East Street, Grenfell between 9am and 12 noon Monday to Friday is recommended, there is currently a huge array of local plants, trees and shrubs available.
