Grenfell Country Club hosted its 4BBB Club Trophy on Sunday, 7 September, with six teams competing in what proved to be a challenging day on the course. Strong winds swept across the fairways, making conditions difficult and testing the accuracy of every shot.

Despite the weather, scoring remained competitive. The overall winners were Garry Hewen and Ben Holmes, who returned an impressive 47 points.

Just one shot behind, Steven Walker and Dave Wood claimed second place on 46 points, while Dean Baker and Brendan Hewen rounded out the top three with 45 points. Dean Baker also took home the nearest-to-the-pin prize on the 18th hole.

Attention now turns to the coming weeks at the Country Club.

The September Monthly Medal will be held this Sunday, 14 September, followed by the Bromar Golf Day on Saturday, 20 September, a three-person ambrose event that is expected to draw a strong field.
