The event was a part of the ABCRA Ranch Sorting Australian Championships finals which took place in Grenfell last Saturday and Sunday, November 4 and 5.
Deputy Mayor Clr Paul Best thanked all the contestants for their contribution to the town and wished them all the best for the weekend.
Competitors travelled from all corners of the state including Tamworth, Nowra, Sydney and Dubbo all hoping to achieve their points tally to qualify to represent Australia in The United States in 2018.
The committee of the Weddin Mountain Performance Horse club would like to thank their local sponsors and volunteers without whom the event would not be possible.
Dooley Jones made a fantastic effort to cart water for the cattle and spraying of the arenas all weekend with two big tankers available for use.

Terry and Deidre Carroll who helped arrange the area with coloured lights for our evening presentations, and gave a helping hand whenever they could.
